Karazhan: Six Men and a Baby

Posted 11-12-2008 at 05:03 PM by Arold (Arold's Tanking Words)

Since the release of 3.0, Doughnuts Per Second has gone into Kara twice. Both runs had only seven people, and although nether could be considered "successful", they were both pretty fun and we learned a lot.

On our first run, Me, my main healer, and one Hunter were in full kara/badge gear. We had three more dps in mostly quest greens, and a level 68 druid for off heals. The player behind the druid had never played him before, and in fact has no character up to 40 yet...

The Dawn of Battle

Posted 11-07-2008 at 10:16 PM by Arold (Arold's Tanking Words)

Otherwise things didn't change much: the expertise badge gear for pants, belt, and bracer's all the time. The rest is all Kara or PvP gear, with one for tank and one for dps. Of course, both block value trinkets. I have a King's Defender with mongoose, and also the...

History and The Burning Crusade

I'm going to try to write on this site once in a while, about my adventures in WoW.

I have five real-life friends that have been hardcore MMO guys forever, basically since EQ was new, I've been in a lot of betas and paid for a month on borrowed accounts here and there but never really got into the genre. Last year, after Vanguard turned out to suck, they decided to give WoW another try, partially because one guy's brother was an incredibly skilled Paladin and could get them in a...
