Yesterday was one of those nights I'll remember for a little while. In effect we spent a full night wiping on hard mode Northrend Beasts. I haven't been able to raid all that much over the course of the last two weeks due to being struck down with a monster flu, followed by my girl finally (!) being with me in the Netherlands again for just the weekend. The community has spent quite a bit of time on learning the encounter and getting adjusted to the shift of paradigm it takes to put some captured...

To be honest. This started out as a reply to 'what makes a good tank' thread on the forums. Perhaps my wall of text was just a little too personal. Or perhaps I just feel more at home writing stuff for my blog. Either way. I hope this helps someone, somewhere.

I think there's a lot of good tanks out there. Tanking has changed a bit, some recent experiences tanking in Aion just really show that blizzard succeeded in making tanking slightly easier and more fun than how it started out....

The effort you put in sometimes does reap the reward you're after.

I've been struck ill with a ghastly flu making me miss out raids for nearly a week. I won't go into any details about that, I just wish you all to not get into touch with it. It sucks, I've never been ill for longer than a couple of days now it's been more than a week.

I've spent just about the whole Monday evening redesigning my user interface. Allright allright… Perhaps redesign isn't exactly the right word for what I did, but tweaking sounds like too little. Now my avatar might be an engineer, personally I find the process of setting up add ons a rather frustrating one. The goals were to get Grid working and to see if I liked...

This morning I drove to work in the dark and the rain. There's quite a bit of wind and there were leaves blowing, circling in the headlights. I don't know why but it felt sort of magical - rather hard to describe - kind of like watching a little show that was put on just for me. I digress, of course. But well, there's so much to enjoying life. And well - I don't like to discard the little things outright. So I guess writing about them makes em last a little bit longer...
