This morning I drove to work in the dark and the rain. There's quite a bit of wind and there were leaves blowing, circling in the headlights. I don't know why but it felt sort of magical - rather hard to describe - kind of like watching a little show that was put on just for me. I digress, of course. But well, there's so much to enjoying life. And well - I don't like to discard the little things outright. So I guess writing about them makes em last a little bit longer...

Yesterday night we've had a breakthrough with our 10 man raiding team. Don't ask me why but for the last four weeks hard mode Jaraxxus was a roadblock we just couldn't seem to get past. Yesterday it finally happened - Jaraxxus went down, followed by one shotting Faction Champions and Twin Valkyrs. I was absolutely amazed by how suddenly everything came together. The best thing about it was that we consisted of mostly the people that started to try the hard modes in the first place. In one night the mental state went to euforia and the aforementioned grind doesn't seem all that terrible at the moment. Seeing the pieces fit into one beautiful 'engine of boss deconstruction' really underlined what I love about raiding so much.

Teamwork.

I trust it won't be too long before we do the hardest thing - killing these bosses for the 2nd time proving we're up to the challenge.

On a more personal note: Seriously well done seventhflighters - thank you for being made of awesome, it's a joy to be raiding with you guys!

That feeling of "everything clicking together" is awesome. We first got that while trying Algalon. Week after week we watched him go Omega. Then one night, everything was coming together beautifully and he went down. Same group went ahead and 2shot Firefighter that had taken us 6 hours of wipes previously. Next day Mad Skills.

It's all that hard work & wiping but not giving up that makes the teamwork work imo.

Gratz on your kill. Now go get Insanity
