So I was dead set to loot _something_ this Friday. Friday being our first raid night of the week so there should've been plenty of opportunity to loot something good… Now my community hasn't seen a single Titanguard, Cloak of the Makers and to boot is plagued by an overwhelming amount of drops for the 4 classes token (you know, Deathknight, druid etc). The only thing that consistently drops is the thrown weapons on flame leviathan by the looks of it.

Naturally... Both Friday and Sunday were completely uneventful, well lootwise speaking, despite killing just about everything but Ignis on our way to Mr Vezax.

On Saturday we ran an Ulduar 10 raid and I'll honestly say it was one of the best raids in Ulduar I've had so far. It mainly had to do with the incredibly relaxed atmosphere on teamspeak. Seventhflight's teamspeak isn't exactly known to be completely structured or quiet, but quite alive with people having a good time. Oddly enough, stuff started dropping. I got the Auriaya shield, which netted me a little avoidance downgrade for some expertise… Then with me picking up the T8 legs from Hodir - but that was only because no-one else was interested in them… As said I was after the shoulderpiece for completeing my 4 piece bonus. We had some problems on thorim, but after letting one of our healers swap to being retributionn in the arena (we had no melee, go figure) it all fell into place and guess what… I walked out with the T8 shoulders… Okay… We had to struggle a little with people not watching what they dps'ed at Freya and finished the night off by killing Ignis and Razor. Razor was even kind enough to drop his trinket for a lucky mage!

Sunday saw me tanking mr Vezax alternating shieldwall and last stand (with a little help from our friendly priests) and I must say it went so much smoother than I ever dared to imagine. I was spot on with the timers, announced way ahead that I would need a cooldown on teamspeak and we got some solid tries in. Currently the pieces will still have to fit together to make it a kill. A steady 30-40% is decent. With most things stabilised it is simply a matter of getting some practice in. I have high hopes for the Tuesday (European server, remember?). And maybe, just maybe I'll be able to ninja the [Heart of Stone] from Ignis… (it's mine! My own... My... precious!)

What can I say about my tanking? It felt better, more confident and easier in the weekend. I wasn't in the zone (I really could have done a little better) but hey, it is good enough a state to be in to work on even more things. All in all a very good wow playing weekend…

In other news… my deathknight dinged 80 and tanked Halls of Lightning once on normal mode… What never happened for Aeth just happened on the first go for Gawayne: He walked out with a brand new and shiny [Seal of the Pantheon]. Right. The RNG giveth, the range taketh…
