I'm sure most of you can understand this, extremely often there's a bunch of things - wanted and unwanted - that all come together at once. In fact, they come at you so helter skelter that you can't get it all dealt with because you just can't manage the time of it all.

In that, comes the frustration of this blog: The agony of timing. I'm one of those people who has a dozen things on his plate pretty much all the time. Virtually none of it ever lands when I'm ready/want/able to...

So, late tonight after our own guild Uld10 - which was...sloppy for us. FL took a second try (one tower), XT one-shot, Kolo 9-manned, and auri took so many pulls to finally get her down we just called it after. Now this is my warrior tank, he's geared, knows the fights. I made a minor screwup on Aury on one of five pulls. Everything else I did, I felt I did cleanly, it was just ploddingly slow and I know we can do much much better. DPS was low as well, barely managing the 3k barrier, and...well...

You simply can't always beat the mechanic. Or well that's phrased wrongly...Now this isn't intended as a whine at all, but sometimes available class mechanics simply win out to more complicated solutions. A simple solution is nearly always the best one, after all. To illustrate:
