If there's something that I've learned over the years as a raid leader it's that patience is directly tied to expectations. I know I've talked about managing expectations here before, but I'm going to say it again.

Manage your Expectations.

Which isn't to say, don't dream big, but it is to say be realistic with what is acceptable. You'll not just be a happy raid leader, but also a much more effective one if you dream...

So from the title you can assume, I will no longer be part of a hardcore raiding guild, for multiple reasons.

Mainly the time taken into account of progression raiding. Work and social life constraints have made me a very inactive raider. I really enjoyed WotLK tanking, however I also have more of a urge to go PVP a bit after a long day at work than to raid for 5 hours.

I will make my way to find a PVP guild where I can do premade bgs, set a up and coming arena team. This...

Well thats the first week in of our new home.

It's been an eye opener. In the way that an angry gnome perched on your head ripping your eyelids up and over your forehead kind of way.

Overall, these guys make our old 3/9 BT pre 3.0 casual guild look like Ensidia, which I still think sounds like a tropical disease. There is a good solid core of experienced people but there are so many Donalds just getting carried through raids. Harsh, but true.

Blizzard got some numbers backwards, apparently. I can I DE iLevel 200 blues at 325 enchanting, but I have to have 350 enchanting to DE iLevel 120+ greens and iLevel 200+ epics. I could swear something is backwards with this.

Precipitating this discovery, I blitzed Enchanting from 126 to 326 in one evening. I should be 400 enchanting w/ ring enchants tomorrow, barring any unexpected developments.

It hit my gold reserves, but nowhere near as badly as I'd feared....
