So, I went ahead on the move. Sportin' the Con Brio tag above my pally now, and quite enjoying it.

We did an Alt/goof run of naxx10. It's too late to properly rant and rave about how fun it was, but suffice it to say it's not every day you get to run with an alt group that's good enough to heal you as you DPS tank thane korthazz then rivendare in your full ret gear.

I look forward to seeing the real, actually serious raids now. ^_^

And so it came to pass, Alent's last full day on Kel'thuzad.

It was awesome. it sucked. I laughed. I cried.

The people in KE have been gracious and supportive, for which I'm grateful. I had hoped to get one last good raid in with them, but alas, our archnemesis, attendance, struck a hard blow. We went from 8/14 ulduar to 3/14 ulduar in one week... my 10 man suffered a similar fate, w/ 5 not attending for a variety of reasons, and one had to log.

The last month of Ulduar raiding has shown me the true meaning of frustration.

Consider this scenario.

Two guilds, both running 10-man Ulduar. One is 11/13 the other is 10/13. They've been keeping up this rate for a while now and they make wonderful progress each time they go out.

These two guilds also come together each week to do a joint Ulduar 25. It gets progressively worse and worse with every single week.

This week in Ulduar 25 we cleared up through Freya with 3 prot warriors including guild firsts on Thorim and Freya.

I'm well aware we are not exactly on the cutting edge in terms of progression but we're proud of how far we've gotten on our limited schedule.

So, we went off to Ulduar, for some reason 4 of our signup decided not to show up, so we had to roll with pugs. 3 had forgotten it was the last day of school (how on earth you can forget that is beyond me). And one had to save his brother in a kite-surfing related accident.

We ended up 2-shotting all bosses in the antechamber, I got some bracers, and most loot went to the guild.

The raid setup was far from optimal, and even with vent, it seemed like our puggers weren't...
