First Post, Death Knights and their relationship

Posted 07-07-2008 at 12:48 PM by Dranchor
Greetings!

As this is my very first post on Tankspot.com, I'll quickly introduce myself. My name is Dranchor the Enduring, I'm a Tauren Warrior on The Venture Co. (EU). Since the day I first tanked an instance I've never stopped doing so. Currently, I'm a tank of the guild Resurrection. We've progressed up until Azgalor and Shade of Akama, but I have only been in Serpentshrine Caverns and Tempest Keep. My favourite dish is fried Gnome Mage. So far, so good.

Let's be honest,...

I have done this sort of thing the past few weeks on the Eventide forums and I'm now bringing it to a wider audience. Its still full of fail but then, its entertaining for me so meh.

So, how was 4th of July fireworks for you? You're a candy ass if you don't make your own...

Multi-questing

Posted 07-07-2008 at 08:38 AM by Smaken
Multi-questing. No, I'm not talking about doing multiple quests at the same time, I'm talking about daily quests you can do as a group and get credit for everyone in your group with.

So (mostly) off the top of my head, here goes:

In Shatt:
The goggles quest in Nagrand, everyone gets credit for each fire you sample.

The get the missive note from the sunhawks, it drops for everyone in the party.

On Isle of QD:
Arm the wards...

Perspective-Wow style

I pugged ZA last night and had a great time. Picked up some badges and cleared through Hex-lord. I mostly OT'd and stood aside for one of the group's regular tanks but did take on the Eagle boss after he gave us some initial difficulty.

The previous week, I pugged into the same group on my druid and though a little rusty, I led the healing meter until the last fight and ended up neck and neck with the priest/RL.

Granted, healing meters are clumsy and not the best...
