I just finished a pretty quick Heroic Mech run, during which we only wiped once (due to an ill-timed sleep on yours truly). It had been a while since I'd actually tanked anything, due to the fact that I've been working evenings. Apparently the game wants me to continue to neglect sleep, because my Sun Eater dropped. I'm not terribly sure I'll use it (much), because I currently have Quickening Blade of the Prince. I don't currently have a distinct survival set and threat set, but this may be the...

Life After Wow....

Sorta....I don't think I'm at the stage of shutting down my accounts but I'm not currently playing Wow....and I don't miss it.

I left obstensibly to take a break because I was burned out on raiding but AoC was there to fill that time slot. Jury is still out on AoC but its a new adventure and I haven't really played it like an MMO but more of a solo adventure.

My guild in Wow is progressing just fine without me and has injected some new blood into the mix. I'm relieved...

DPS: Two-hander vs. Dual-wield

When off-tanks aren't needed to tank anything, usually on single-mob boss fights, they turn into DPS. We all know this. Assuming said off-tank is a protection warrior, we can assume they have Devastate. Most of the time, they will also have One-Handed Weapon Specialization - increasing the damage done while wielding a one-handed melee weapon by 10%.

Devastate is a pretty awesome DPS ability. Not quite as awesome as Bloodthirst,
but it will do for us prot warrior who are forced...
