Got me the SSO rep [item]Dawnforged Defender[/item] this week, which I might equip on certain tank fights, but the real reason to get it was it's comparable SBV to things like the Nightbane shield, which I keep giving to my offtanks. (We have lots of offtanks.) So with the luxury of the tough shield 18 SBV enchant on that, it becomes my PVP shield.
I also got the [item]Sunguard Legguards[/item] finally, so I went and...
I'm the primary tank for our raid force. We're currently 3/4, 5/6, 1/5, 1/9 to give you an idea of our progression. Next week is all SSC week with the idea of taking down Vashj. I also act as what I consider to be the assistant raid leader. When I assert myself I have a fair amount of influence, but normally I prefer to do my job and monitor the others as best I can (I focus on tanking and the interaction with the healers, I leave the DPS to the raid leader).
I can't begin to convey how insanely irrate I am right now.
Drama has, once again, crept into my guild, and this time I think the damage it has caused is beyond repair. At least, beyond the amount of effort I'm willing to put forth to repair it.
It's one thing to boast about a new piece of gear to guildmates, or even to gloat a bit about being #1 of DPS meters, but when guildies begin deriding and belittling each other over these issues, feelings get hurt and it becomes...
You would probably infer from the title of the post that this is going to be a lament/excoriation of trying to PUG Kara. But it's not. Because I pugged an almost full clear last nite (only Netherspite remained) with 2 guildies and 7 other people we just picked up semi-randomly. While Kara is no great shakes for anyone, it's exciting for my guild because there's 3 of us. 10-mans are about the extent of what we can do realistically, at least at the moment.
