Oh Kalecgos!

Posted 04-02-2008 at 11:30 PM by Pathis
So tonight was our second night on Kalecgos, and I have to say, I really love this fight, despite the fact that we didn't kill him tonight. Its tuning reminds me very much of Naxxrammas back in the day. Only six bosses though, but I guess the gate system with the last three will lengthen the time it takes for the first guild to down Kil'jaedon.

In either case, we spent most of our tries on Kal ecgos tryiing to fine tune our strategy, which I think we'll have down by tommorow. Basically,...

20:19:26 [6] [Indarra]: i mean chain if need be but your priority is tank healing.
20:19:38 [6] [Indarra]: and vamp embrace will cover bles/indi's groups for the most part

You might know the guild tag from my GM who has a blog here, Caulle. You can find that here: http://www.tankspot.com/forums/blogs/caulle/

After finding out about her blog, she suggested making one of my own on this website, except from the perspective of a DPS warrior. I figured it will help pass the time,...

I pick you to raid with me!

Somehow, it all comes back to, "I want to play, why won't you pick me?" Whether it involves picking up women, applying for a job, or auditioning for American Idol, it's about attention and rejection. Even with the set controls of a limited amount of classes, gear, talent points, reputation, etc, there are players who range from exceptional to terrible. And lord knows, I'm not exceptional. But in progression, the investment of time should (and I don't like to use the word "should"...

Bar Setting Part Deux

Posted 04-02-2008 at 07:15 AM by Caulle
This is a follow up to a previous blog entry.

So it's been about a month since I challenged the raid to set their bars higher. Did it pay off? Let's find out!

My raid has a pretty distinct pattern of winning and losing. We will have 3 strong weeks of performance followed by one god awful embarrassing week. The horrible week always follows, surprise surprise, AV weekend. So how did we fare in the other 3 weeks? Pretty good I'd say...
