I have always enjoyed pick-up groups. I remember when I was first getting into the game, back in 2004 & early 2005. Of course, my server -- Illidan (US) -- was only accessible about 12 hours a day (1 hour of that was queue times), but it was well worth the wait. Logging in, doing a few quests, checking out the (broken & incomplete) village of Nighthaven, I realized there was more to the game.

So Gardek sent me a link to a Ruby script that eats WWS logs and spits out a TPS number.

It's not foolproof; I aimed it at a report where I died halfway through and it reported my tps as about half what it should be, indicating to me that it doesn't exactly grasp the time periods as I would like, but whether I totally buy the numbers or not, it's an interesting study, because at least I do trust it to do what it does the same way as it analyzes various fights.

I've been giving this much thought since there's not a lot that's positive about being nurse. I take care of people who are sick, have serious illnesses or injuries and who sometimes die. How can that make you feel good about the work you do?

I get asked the question 'how do you do it?' by patients and family members alike. It's quite a common question really, not a week goes by...

So, yesterday was a weird day. I was doing my dailys (as usual lol) and a friend asked me to tank Heroic MgT "from" the 3rd boss til Kael. I asked him if did i needed to respec, but in the end i ended up tanking as fury spec. 2 shield walls later (due to lack of coordination killing the 2nd phoenix and taking kael to 2nd phase) we took him down, and then the druids sends me a tell that says: "Nice tanking btw".

That's a first for me, i don't pug that much either....
