I've been feeling lately that this site is being flooded by the kind of mindless QQ that I so dearly hate on the WoW forums. The thread on the news forum about Blessing of Sanctuary finally caused me to write this entry. This will probably be interpreted as some kind of personal attack towards paladins but it is not. I'm just sick of seeing people with huge chips on their shoulders getting all up in arms about something that they've misinterpreted or chosen to take a different way to what was meant....

So after the raid tonight, the officers had a chat, and I brought up a subject I had been dreading for a long time:

I have only been able to raid twice a week since I joined my current guild. It has worked fine for the entire of TBC, in fact I'm the Main-Tank.
For WoTLK it will be another matter, I will fall behind in gearing and experience, and will end up as a burden for the guild. My suggestion to this was to respec to DPS or make my druid my main.

So yesterday I logged on, hoping to get some arena games in. My disc priest friend and my S4 shoudler ret pally friend were online so we decided to do some games, and hopefully get me to 1800 for my axe.

We started off well, and mistakes we made, we didn't make again. Eventually after an hour or two the team was a bit over 1800 and my personal rating was at 1796. I was ready for that last game and wanted my shiny new weapon.

I have just discovered this website a few weeks ago and have fallen in love with it. I have been scouring the forums and reading the blogs almost every day and it's great to see what other tanks are thinking

I am a prot warrior at heart and always will be. I can dabble with fury or pvp from time to time but love tanking. I am in full Kara/ZA/Badge gear and my guild has now full cleared SSC/TK and are working on BT (7/9) and Hyjal (4/5) after the nerf....

This was an interesting week in raiding for me. My guild cleared everything from Sunwell to ZG. Looking at my /raidinfo seemed more like a list of all the instances in the game instead of its normal 1 or 2 instance list. I was saved to Sunwell, BlackTemple, Hyjal, TK, AQ40, AQ20, MC, Ony, BWL, ZA, and Kharzan on my tank. Needless to say it was an busy week.
