I have definite preferences over my lineup. For a newbie team that will basically progress through Curator before stalling, I recommend two tanks, three healers, five dps.

Like the title says I'm new to WoW and to Blog posting actually so hopefully I'll be forgiven for any errors I make.

This is probably old hat, but I still see these posts popping up regularly. I know that back in the day, my regular 5-man group waited way too long to go. Instead, we ran all the 5-mans non-stop (I was exalted most places before stepping foot in there) and had done some heroics (which aren't easy at all without Kara gear -- welfare epics weren't as common 10 months ago).

Even after I started going to Kara I remember recommending that people be keyed in most, if not all, major factions...

Here we are again. Start at Gruul's Lair and clear the instance in around 1 hour, maybe a little more after 1 wipe on Gruul due to a nasty error on a shatter that wiped a few healers. Gruul's down second attempt, 2 of the same shoulders drop for druid warrior and priest. I get out /ro when my damn computer locks up. When I finally go off line, all the loot has been distributed and no shoulders for me again.

Oh well, he is dead and lets move on to Tempest Keep, we all vote yes and...

At first, I figured to make this blog a first person diary of my character because I rarely had anything to say outside of the game. But of course, things do not go as planned.

For awhile, my guild has been trekking through Karazhan, progressing at about one boss per week. While the other raiders are not the best players in the world, we manage to pull through with me tugging along as main tank. This continued until we managed our first full clear. Then all hell breaks loose.
