So, my guild is *still* trying to get 25HM Rhyolith down, and we're actually regularly getting into P2 now. The problem is, the fight is lasting around 5 minutes and 50 seconds, which is obviously WAY too long for the fight to go on. How do you time when to push the boss towards 25%?
When is it "safe" to focus entirely on the boss and ignore the adds?
Do you save lust for phase 2, or blow it early to push the boss sooner?
When 4. spark spawn you should have 0-10 maybe a bit more armor on boss,that is moment when you transfer all dps you have on boss.If you think you dps is not great do BL and burn boos up to 25 % ,but if you see boss is going down fast save BL for p2 start.

Usually when the 4th spark spawns. But when you say that you need 5m 50. It sounds more like a general DPS assignment / problem.
If you have enough healing, but dont wanna drop a healer, you can burn the sparks later. This increases the sparks dmg, but also the dmg it takes.
Also you have to try and minimize the dps loss on target switching. This is especially the steering, the dds have to deal full dps, even when the boss has 60% armor!
It's also possible that your DOT DD's multidot on both legs, but makes the steering more random.
Ryolith doenst really look like a though dps fight. But all mechanics are much easier when you have good dps. Try to focus on it and many things will be much easier :)

It's a touch before the fourth spark spawning. Basically wait for the third spark, then two sets of fragments, then immediately when they're down, push.
Having low armor at that point is essential.

At around the 4 minute mark he SHOULD have about 20ish stacks, the 4th spark will spawn. Kill remaining fragments, hero, kill boss. The spark will despawn on transition if I remember right.

We encountered similar issues on timing the push and found just timing the push for the 4th spark wasn't sufficient, it was a matter of using dps effectively.
After trying 5 then 4 on each leg, we settled on 2 constant per leg with 3 turners, the constant were multi-target capable (combat rogues, fury warriors). Pull all fragments under the boss, the hitbox on each foot is large, to hit him with AoE, and make sure anyone who can DoT keeps them up on both legs and the spark. We waited until the 4th-5th stack on the first two sparks and had 4-5 ranged nuke it. On the third, we had the Spark dps start immediately and the Fragment dps switched after it's last wave was dead. With this, we ended up with the legs around 40% instead of 50% at ~4:30 when the last spark spawns. Armor stacks are pretty much irrelevant, if you aren't hitting enough volcanoes, you will die from Eruption long before you have to worry about a push.
Have your tanks grab the adds while everyone burns the boss, I held heroism until ~33% so we would have it active to heal through the first 1-2 stomps.
