war tank 4set vs offset valor choice. gear help.

In my adventures in-game I have come to a point where i have to weigh a few dif things and make a choice going forward. The simple question atm is am i getting 4 peice as a war tank and when?

atm I have the bird shoulders and teir legs(h), hands and helm. I am using the tier 11 Heroic chest. For my next valor item should I buy my t12 chest? http://www.wowhead.com/item=65269 vs http://www.wowhead.com/item=70945

OR

My other option is to replace 359 thrown with the new valor thrown. http://www.wowhead.com/item=60210 vs http://www.wowhead.com/item=71218

at the same time i will be able to upgrade my 359 ring to the 378 valor ring. http://www.wowhead.com/item=58187
vs http://www.wowhead.com/item=70940 also is the boe ring thecks a better option? http://www.wowhead.com/item=70940

so is the ring/thrown greater then the chest/4 set upgrade. keep in mind that i think with 4 set 6 parry will take me to unhittable so 20 secs unhittable after a sb. also after i am unhittable, is the 4 set even worth it? wont it just push mastery off the table? would it be better to shoot for just for best gear for stats?

I use a alch upgraded mastery elixer.

ty, ya ive already posted in and am aware of that thread. basicly the 6 parry will push the mastery into the only crit block phase. imo not too sexy but prob better then for pallys. As for the post-unhitable gearing i still think that the teir chest wont be a bad option b/c i will be moven away from the mastery ne way and alyrazor heroic is not unreasonable.

Did a comparison of the Shoulder/Helm/Chest Off-set peices vs the Tier ones. Below is what you are giving up if you choose the Off-Set pieces for those slots insted of tier. (Negative means you actually gain more of that stat with the tier pieces)

So the question is, are any of those lines worth giving up for the 4-Piece bonus.

The best option seems to be using Tier Helm & Shoulders if you do go for the 4-Piece.

+127 str, 26 stam, 48 armor, 320 dodge 452 mastery vs -42 dodge, -140 mastery, 342 parry, 166 expertise, 177 hit

this is the normal all offset road. what do u guys think? worth it?

using gatekeeper helm, rag shoulders, spider chest. i think heroic will scale better b/c the hit expertise.

edit can someone compare stats with just pure damage reduction percent lost? idk how to do that for sure.

I still don't know how much weight to give the 4-Piece bonus.
Depending on the mechanics of any particular fight. On tank swap fights it may be possible to keep Shield Block or the 4-Piece buff up at all times that we have agro. On those fights it is almost as valuable as a straight 6% parry buff.
On fights where we are always tanking something, it is worth at most 3% parry (Up for half the time we don't have Shield Block). Less, in my opinion, since its a temp buff that we cant rely on when gearing to be unhittable.

In the former case I would take the 4-piece over the off-set pieces. In the latter I want the off-set pieces.

I think the best answer is to build both sets and switch them out as needed.
