As the name says i am getting back into WoW after about 6-7 months of being gone. I just kinda wanna know what to expect. When i come back i'll be playing my Level 85 Hunter and my level 80 paladin. I just want to get an idea of what to expect when i come back since i have played in so long. When i lasted played on my hunter surv was the main spec and i was playing healing on my paladin. Has anything drastically changed for either of these classes? All help is appreciated.

Marksman is now the FotM spec for hunters but a good survival is competitive. Holy pallies are good, as they have been for a long time now.

Even BM is now competative dps. Sur is a bit easier on the rotation then MM; MM has a rotation when mob is over 90%, then a normal rotation, then a 25% and below rotation. While not rocket surgery, it does take a bit more awareness to push the dps than Sur.

Pallies are as op as ever; especially Holy Pallies - I love tanking and healing on my Pally these days.

BM? Maybe my info is outdated, I read BM hunters were the worse dps spec available in any class by a fair margin...

and while BM is certainly behind, its not that far behind Ret, and no one demonises the paladins who go DPS
