Hello,

I play protection paladin and I have a question about the use of Inquisition in single target rotation.
There is one trick that makes sense for me: wait for 3 holy power, use Inq, use wings, use Divine Plea (to get 3 more holy power), then use SotR and generate high threat. This is something you can do only when wings and divine plea CDs are off.

However, another paladin told me that he weaves Inq in single target rotation, on the expense of SotR. Is he correct in doing so? If yes, what is the ratio between Inq and SotR? i.e. how to combine them into a rotation?
I admit that I've never used Inq in single target rotation until now. Looked to me like a waste of good SotR.

Thanks!

If sacred duty is up and you have 3 HoPo then ShoR
If Inquisition is up and you have 3 HoPo then ShoR
If neither INQ nor SD is up and you have 3 HoPo then INQ

Basically

There's a slight gain to be had for the attentive tankadin by conditionally choosing SotR or Inq: (SotR if Sacred Duty or Inquisition active)>Inq>CS>AS>J is a gain of around 100 DPS at low hit.
