Hello well i'm newer to tanking and i'm having some issues holding aggro and basically overall survival. My gear I don't think is HORRIBLE... but I don't know i've also looked at other tanks on wow heroes and notice they're not using hit/exp cap anymore dunno if that's the problem just looking for an overall critique and maybe some advice on how to improve?
I appreciate any advice :D

Part of not needing better gear does boil down to getting your rotation right and using your taunts effectively. For some of us it was really simply to learn these things but for others it may take more time.. (Do you automatically understand you need a clearn UI and no delay keybinds for taunts?) Not likely do you understand this and it will take time.. Delay = Threat lost
So I looked you up and you pretty much have Expertise capped right now. You need to start getting away from that hit and exp gear into gear with avoidance / mitigation stats on it but if you are already having threat problems it just comes down to practice..

I do appreciate the advice i'm upgrading my equipment quickly and i'll stop investing in expertise and hit and i'll focus more on my avoidance/mitigation as for the rotation i've got a pretty good one worked out i believe but is there one people find more common place out there? as well as a clean ui VERY basic is what i'm looking for but it's hard to track down tbh... Suggestions would be great.

I installed Dominos it is a bar program that removes a lot of the basic ui just leaving the buttons. BasicChatMods helps me out too and this leaves me with a very clean UI. Power Auras, TellMeWhen are installed to tell me various things but one thing I might never catch without an addon is "Crusader" I believe it is called. Makes Holy Light heal for 300% which is 25K, 30K big heals for just a little tiny bit of mana.
I placed my attack spells on the action bar in a priority order. Avenger Shield is one of the first and it is because it hits so hard but to truly understand the rotation I think Elitist Jerks explains the rotation really well.
P.S. Before installing the addons backup your Interface and WTF folders. Also before installing the bar addons like Dominos I find it best to open all action bars and remove almost everything.. Just leave attacks, buffs..

well ive been playing for only about 3-4 months now...and i never had problems losing aggro....I just learned it by leveling and playing....IMO you should change the http://www.wowhead.com/item=68712 for http://www.wowhead.com/item=56347
also your talents...get 2/2 Hallowed Ground 2/2 Seals of the Pure
change the Glyph of Seal of Truth for Glyph of Judgment

Sticky I don't mean to burn you down or anything like that but we don't stack Stamina the Mastery trinket is correct. With the upcoming changes in 4.1 I am not expecting large changes to our build. For now I just want to link you to the latest info and remind you the change is probably due soon then we might look at talents points again. I am linking you to other forums but imo Tank Spot is the best of all resources.
