ok so im going to try to be as detailed as possible. please let me know if im missing any beneficial information.

ok im a level 85 affliction warlock, gear score currently 351. according to all the pages im able to find and videos online, it seems like every one seems to be doing WAY more DPS then i am, and i use the same spec and rotations that i find. so anything i can find on google is not helping me so far.

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/bleeding-hollow/xylience/simple

that is the character.

im full gemmed, full enchanted 31(affliction)//2 demonology ( for the stamina talent//8 destro

4166 int
5885 spell power
10.64% haste
17.53% hit
14.36% crit

my current rotation is as follows

corruption > bane of agony >unstable affliction > haunt > shadowbolt X 2 //drain life > drain soul target <//= 25% health.

and it seems like i can usually pull like 9k dps, which lets face it, is pretty lame. any help or advice would be appreciated

I use curse of element > bane of doom > corruption > unstable affliction > haunt > (shadowflame) > shadowbolt spam.
Use haunt on CD, keep bane of doom rolling, refresh unstable affliction just before it drops, replace shadowbolt with drain soul only if target is < 25% health.
After 17% hit, int is still king. As for secondary stats, get as much haste as you can.

id really like to say thank you for your time. i went from about 8k to 11.4k on dummies by using your rotation.

You should haunt right after CoA to get the haunt debuff up on target which increases your dot dmg.

It should be, Haunt - BoD - Corr - UA - Shadowflame - DS(Succy) - Shadowbolt. For sub 25% keep dots up and then use Drain Soul instead of Shadowbolt.

i had read all of the stuff from elitistjerks prior to thinking to post here. that ratation dropped me to 9.5-10k, about a 1k net loss on my other current roatation. thank you for your time though

Actually I was just posting the rotation I learned from EJ.

If you actually read the EJ post then you should know why haunt is placed after all three dots at opening. IMO whether you cast haunt first or not shouldn't be a large deal though.
