Hey guys - my first post on Tankspot :)
This other Paladin tank gets in more hits than me on just about all abilities and each ability does more damage on average per hit.
I've spent a lot of time analyzing the logs and I just cannot figure it out.
Here is the log of the other tankadin (Glady) - from their Cho'gall kill:
http://worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-qj856fs7j5h2i9wx/sum/damageDone/?s=10838&e=11271
Here is my log from our Cho'gall attempt:
http://worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-v2dwqzuldt3l68ly/sum/damageDone/?s=10434&e=10916
As you can see, I am doing 6831 DPS(e), Glady is doing 9400 DPS(e).
Glady has a bit better gear than me, but we have almost exactly the same melee stats - the biggest difference is that I have 3% more Hit Rating.
Here is Gladys armory profile:

Here is my armory profile:

Now, I have discovered one thing from analyzing the logs. We don't have the +10% melee haste buff because our Shaman used the wrong totem (should have used Windfury totem).
That would explain, perhaps, why Glady is getting in more attacks than me in the same amount of time.
However, it doesn't explain why Glady is doing more damage per hit, on average, for just about all his various attacks.
For example:
Glady does 10979 average damage on Crusader Strike - I do 9147
Glady does 21127 average Crusader Strike crit - I do only 16714
Glady does 19185 average Shield of the Righteous - I do 12875
Glady does 35204 average Shield of the Righteous crit - I do 30571
Glady does 3527 average melee hits - I do 2882
Glady does 7377 average melee crits - I do 6217
...and so on and so forth.
Why is this??
Can you guys figure out why from the logs or our gear/spec setup?
Are we missing some raid buff, perhaps?
Any explanation for this would be greatly appreciated!
