Crazy idea for Magmaw adds

Has anyone tried to kite the parasites in front of a boomkin so he could use their knockback ability and throw the adds off the ledge into the lava? My buddy thought of this and it sounds feasable, but I figured someone has already tried this and found it doesn't work.

Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Is it feasable?

I haven't tested this, but I'm pretty sure it'd function like every other boss fight where you can bump things off a ledge, they respawn with full health or Magmaw would evade.
