So I was looking at Elitest jerks and found two specs. one for single target and one for Aoe and trash pulls. Pretty much what my secondary spec is , a "Healer Helper" spec imo .

But i was using my single target build the whole time and on bosses and trash i was loosing threat to this group in vortex pinnicle heroic. And im worried because my guild is planning a 10man raid today , and i want to see whats wrong .

want to know if im gemming, reforging right and what i can do to keep threat, and to see if my gear is fine and my stats .

In terms of +hit and +expertise, you seems good to me. Your avoidance seems rather low to me. You may want to enchant the rest of your gear. That'll help a bit in that area ;)

yeah i enchanted a bit more just to get some bonus even if they are low enchants. And I was thinking that avoidance would come with gear . but i know that a friend is gemming avoidance to around atleast 15% parry and dodge, but he is a death knight . so im not sure if its any different.

don't gem for avoidance, gear for mastery and stamina first and foremost, hit and expertise that comes on gear is good but the priority are mastery and stamina for maximum survivability. proper rotation and spec will make a bigger change to your threat than the threat stats, especially since vengeance gives us such large tps/dps gains.

So Kaz, What my gear looks like atm is fine the way it is ?

no, you currently have a lot of stuff reforged for hit and/or dodge, reforge for mastery where possible, and where you can't (there is already mastery on the piece) you CAN reforge for expertise or hit. you want to reforge your stats so that your dodge/parry are as close to each other in terms of stats, while getting as much mastery as possible because you gain more from mastery than you do from dodge/parry due to diminishing returns, and it smooths damage instead of making you take 0 0 0 big hit.

so if it dosn't have mastery i want to reforge my dodge/hit to mastery and if it does i CAN reforge to expertise and hit?

don't reforge the MASTERY to hit/expertise, you CAN reforge dodge/parry to expertise/hit IF you feel you need it, but right now, I'd say keeping dodge/parry is probably better!

ahh I see .So i should clear all my reforged gear right now. to see the normal stats?
Also what stats am i reforging to MASTERY . ? Dodge / parry or another stat ?

yes, dodge/parry to mastery, if an item has both dodge and parry on it, pick the one that will best balance your dodge/parry to be as close to equal as possible.
