Free MMO that myself, Meeks, and a bunch of other tankspotters who played Ikariam together have moved over to. So far it's quite fun and best part is that it shouldn't take up much of your day to play.

Servers that our alliance (TWM-The Watchmen) have presence in:

The Ravaged Land (server is currently closed, and invitation service is broken)
link:MM:HK - The Ravaged Land (http://mm-hk.com/referral/ed3fcb6f3f2594e04c67f364c6de29a1b7e77965)
Current leadership held by Meekers (Meeks).

The Zombie Assembly (server is currently closed, and invitation service is broken)
link: MM:HK - The Zombie Assembly (http://mm-hk.com/referral/c91abab9cbb1e7ad5892179b04e6ee2e570592ee)
Current leadership held by Kazeyo (myself)

Other servers (only 2 servers allowed per account while free, subscriptions allow more servers and/or heroes to be recruited):
Flight of the Griffins
The Phantom Plague
The Song of the Dryads

Leave a message here if you'd like to join, or just click the links, try it out, and whenever they "fix" the invitation system, we'll try to get everyone on!

Suggestions for what to do if I cleared my area but don't have the ratings to build a second city? Looks like I fought too many unhonorable fights :)

I ended up on the angel's downfall. I'm pgriff91 and I invited my cousin, doomcup. We're starting out fresh, made our own alliance since we're building nearby. Question: Does all my kingdom activities happen even without my browser having to be open on the game?

Yeah, once you tell things to happen they will go on until they are done. Browser open or not.

Do that's what Ubi is doing with the Might and Magic, Heroes of Might and Magic franchise.
Recycled HoMM3/HoMM4 graphics, setting very close to(if not identical) to HoMM3.

Is this revenant at least woth it? I started a game but it seems to be a complete half-assed rehash of something unique and beautiful.
May those heathens burn!

...and they won't let me fight for Tatalia!

Is it a promo for HoMM6? How do they make money? What's the deal?

it's just an online browser game, similar to ikariam, or any of the other free online browser games. you pay to allow yourself to get more stuff in the game, like more heroes (current free version is limited to 3 heroes across all towns until 70 days pass from your account creation), more servers (current free version is limited to 2 servers), etc.

I wouldn't say it's a complete bastardization. It's a game that has to run smoothly on a browser, with thousands of players connected to servers simultaneously. It's not meant to be HoMM6, it's just a separate venture from the game.

Yeah, I noticed they "lifted" a couple of graphics of one of the best(now sadly deceased, YMMV) franchises evar.
It's a sore spot. Right next to what EA did to Ultima.

it's their product, they can do what they want with it, this game is miles ahead of other online browser based mmos me and meeks have tried to play since ikariam took a dump on itself with patches.

Yep, I'm giving it a shot. But it seems my turns will all be finished around 2am :(

eh, you can play it on a slow pace, just do your actions once or twice a day, and walk away from it, decent casual gamer style, or you can get really into it, and time your buildings, attack others, etc based on your sleep schedule =P

Um, isn't it normally basing your sleep schedule around fun and not fun around your sleep schadule?

This is a code to join Griffon. We have a decent amount of people there. Not sure if the referral will work.

Suck, well hopefully when the game recycles the invitation system will be a bit better so we can get recombined again. For now we are all just starting to learn to play anyway.

I have been unable to connect to the website for 2-3 days. (I'm using firefox and my firewall is the windows default)

If people are interested Ravaged Lands is approaching the end game, I have an invitation that might work (they claim to have fixed them). You can join now getting a handle on the starting experience and some people will gladly give you some towns.
