Suggestions And Advice (Upgrades)

Hey everyone, was looking for some advice, I havent played in many months & Im kinda outta the loop.

Im looking to get myself geared up better, possibly start raiding & whatnot. I just recently server xfered to a friends server so no big group of friends or guild to go farm gear with, so pugging is my only real option atm.

Not sure with the gear I have where I should start my progression.

Just wondering what instances I should be looking to run to get myself upgraded to be able to get into pug raids & maybe a guild.

Run randoms until your fingers bleed. That will get you triumphs for:
245 helm
245 shoulders
232 gloves
245 ring
245 trinket (glyph of idom)

Farm ToC5 normal for The Black Heart
Farm R HoR for the 219 shield. Also the 219 tanking cloak drops from regular HoR.

Maybe Mark of the Relentless (219 tank ring) will drop in H ToC5.
232 weapon options include Rimefangs from H PoS or Wrist Chopper from H HoR

Crafted 245 wrists and chest should be down fairly cheap now, then save gold for Pillars of Might and then Boots of Kingly Upheval

iirc - 232 wrists drop from H PoS and 232 boots from H FoS as place holders until you can get the betters.

Not sure about the belt, easiest way would probably be trade 28 triumphs down to conquest to get the 226 belt. Same for your neck, though the fossilized choker from H HoR is pre-raiding BiS.

Ranged you can the 245 triumph star. After you buy pillars and boots of kingly upheval, then look for the 264 ICC tanking gun drop.

Shoulders are +Sta/+Res enchants from I'm guessing Orgimmar for horde.

Wrist and gloves should both have + Sta enchants.

232 weps probably aren't worth the huge mat cost for blood draining, but that's more or less (long thread on here somewhere) the top warrior enchant (due to low uptimes for the other enchants and the lack of a strong need for hit).
