Citadel Enforcer's Claymore or Dual-Blade Butcher for Arms PvP?

I was caught between putting in PvP discussion and Gear and Enchanting Discussion so I eventually decided to put it here ^_^

Which is better for PvP as an Arms Warrior?

Dual-Blade Butcher (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47285) or Citadel Enforcer's Claymore (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50761)?

Obviously both have Berserking (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=59621) and both are socketed with 1 Fractured Cardinal Ruby (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40117). The Dual-Blade Butcher gives me around 8% ArP more and the hit is wasted for me from the Claymore. The only reason I would even consider using the sword is because it has more DPS, damage, and sword spec.

Generally Axe Spec > Sword Spec always.

However, the item level increase almost always trumps the weapon specs. My gut is telling me to go with the Claymore.

But you need to confirm that for yourself:

1) Go to a test dummy and run some test on your dps.

2) Use a spreadsheet to math it out.

3) You also have to try and figure out if the weapon dps is more important than the increased ArP for you in arenas.

Sorry I don't have better answers (I don't arena any more) but hopefully that can get you moving in the right direction.

The Butcherer hands down. More arpm more crit, and axe spec is awesome.

More importantly for arms pvp its about weapon dps but weapon DAMAGE. Some warrior abilities (like MS) are based on weapon DAMAGE, and DBB has slightly higher damage, and that along with the stat increases makes it a better weapon for pvp.

don't think this note about damage is right; Ms and overpowr are normalized attacks, only slam is not normalized.

I think the axe for pve and the sword for pvp... The burst from sword spec is nice for pvp but aweful for pve

Haha I'm kind of in the same boat as you, I got both weapons and the axe off of DBS but no Skilltoll for PVP.

I would use DBB because I prefer the extra ArP for damage and because I'm rolling with 2pc t9 atm for pvp.

I'm not really a fan of sword spec but I haven't used it recently so I can't say much about it.
