View Full Version : Sindragosa 10m Hardmode healing help

My 10man group's been working on Sindragosa Hardmode for quite some times now. Our best attempt would be @ 18% but people kept dying.
Our Group Set up is the following:
Prot Pally:MT
Dk Tank: OT
Fury Warrior, Rogue: Melee Dps
Elemental Shaman, Arcane Mage: Caster Dps
Hunter: Ranged Dps
Holy Pally, Holy Priest, and Resto Druid: Healers

Can anyone tell us what we're doing wrong, here's our strat for phase 3: Tanking wise, Our 2 tanks (Prot Pally Mt) and (DK OT) taunt off each other every other block to reset their mystic buffet. Their both wearing some type of FR gear, Pally have around 200ish, and the dk have 400-500. I wouldn't really say tanking is the issue since our wipes weren't due to tank deaths. Our strat for mystic buffet is to have every1 reset at every block other than the tank healer (Holy Pally) and the tank. Which they reset at every other block. We have the Melee dps break the blocks out because it was breaking way too quick with the ranged on it as well and some people would often miss their reset. Unchained magic usually goes on a healer/dps. So what we do is have the dps cast 1 stack and let him blow up in the raid and the healers with unchained does the same. After the first block, or more specifically during the first Pull in, one of the dps will always drop because of lack of heals. Are the healers doing something wrong? I watched many vid's and seen that the unchained healer stays out, away from the group and start raid healing and blowing up, is this what we're suppose to do? Also, in a case where a healer is tomb, and another healers is unchained; what exactly are we suppose to do in a time like this?

Do people just die normally? or are you having deaths after her AoE death grip? A bad death grip would put you to like, 5-7 stacks taking over 10k frost aura ticks before resistance kicks in.

Its half and half, on certain attempts our dps didn't reset their stack and they die. On other attempts, a healer would be tomb, another with unchained magic so the healer that's not tomb/unchained will have to solo heal the tank and raid healing which leads to some deaths towards the dps.

Though im not too sure about the hard mode scaling, but you could stack higher than one stack depending on how mystic buffet is looking.
And instead of blowing up in the raid, try setting up a spot for them to run to, avoiding extra raid damage

We did better using 2tank/4physicaldps/4healer group. Just have the healers be very offensive during p1 and you'll have 4 minutes for her phase 3 with lust, have the shaman go restoration and tell the poor mage he has to sit out.

This fight likes to punish you for not going pure caster or pure physical +1 healer.

So better setup is 2 tank 4healer and 4 dps? With 3 healer we hed a lot of problems under 35% :/

Yes if they are all physical and do very good damage(9-10k+ at least sustained in a normal situation). Our main group had 4 physical dps and the damage done overall by frost ticks,4 physical dps with chilled to the bone was very difficult to heal with 3 healers on p3.

Course, if you had a 2tank/5CASTERdps/3healer group it would be very easy to heal, since noone really suffers from chilled to the bone but the main tank who has tons of frost resist, and chances are, one or two of these guys have good emergency utility(tranquility/chain heal spam/whatever/healthstones) in case a healer gets blocked. Then again, what IS difficult in icc10 if you cheese it with 5 ranged dps?

We usually use three healers. Paladin, Shaman/Priest, Druid.

Paladin on tanks, reseting buffet on every other block, but positioning himself so that he can still heal the tank while doing so.

Druid on raid. Shaman/Priest covering whatever needs help, if both other healers are up, go for raid.

We do it the same way in phase 3 you do, melee on blocks, ranged on Sindragosa.

Tanks switch whenever they can. Make sure the people that get beacon get a hot so they're topped when they get out. If one healer has unchained and another has tomb, kill the block instantly and have people use healthstones and cooldowns as necessary. Worst case scenario you'll get it at the same time as grip, and then you'll have 6-7 stacks if people reset them correctly, and aura mastery or sacrifice usually covers that.

Then just keep going, there's no reason to rush the dps in phase 3, that will only get you killed. Survivability is key, if you're closing in on the enrage, try upping your dps in phase 1, if you can skip one more airphase you'll have loads of time to slack in phase 3.

We won at 3rd try idk how we did lol? We killed it with 3 healer pld druid and shaman. We had lucky becouse no one healer was in tomb XD
