View Full Version : Warrior Neverending Winter vs. Wrathful Gladiator's Shield Wall

My guild currently only runs 10 man ICC and we are still working on the Plague wing so obviously not very far into ICC. I have access to the Neverending Winter (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50794) but could also obtain Wrathful Gladiator's Shield Wall (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=51533) with a little bit of work its not that hard to get since it only requires 325 arena points and an 1800 rating. The pvp shield grants 515 more armor and over 600+ more health. Right now my current shield is Crystal Plated Vanguard (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=46963).

My big question is should I go for the PvP shield over the ToC shield until the ICC 10 one drops and is the PvP shield as good, better, or worse than the one from ICC 10 Gunship?

If you don't need avoidance then definitely go with the PVP shield. Getting +500 armor and +600 health is not something to laugh at.

i would say the pvp shield is better than the toc and icc 10 shields for eh. currently i'm using the pvp shield over the 258 ilvl togc 25 shield and its ~400 more armor and ~300 more hp in my offspec tank gear.

I'm in 10 man only as well and I"ll be picking up the PvP shield asap. Not only is it arguably better in a lot of situations but my god, it looks SOOO much better than Neverending Winter. Kind of reminds of me of the Illidan shield...kind of :)

For EH, the PVP shield is better than anything except the ICC 25 shield/heroic ICC 25 shield.
