Need advice on frost badges for Tankadain

I'm not in a position to get to tank 25 mans. I may get to tank some 10 mans maybe if I pug them.

My frost badges are hard to come by, I get 19 a week, and that's about what I expect to get in the future. Pugging ICC would be wonderful but I play with friends and it's hard to find a grp that will take all of us. I'd rather play with them that pug with out.

That being said I have narrowed down my choices to 4 pieces I like:

I think I need to get the belt first, I really like that 2 set bonus though. But I think the belt or the Cloak are the smart choices.

Hello there,

First and foremost, if you rarely see yourself getting into 25 mans, you won't see yourself with any Tier upgrading pieces from ICC. So, if you're dying to upgrade your hands (which isn't the slot that needs the upgrade the most, since the tier 9 hands are an excellent piece), I would go with Gauntlets Of the Kraken.

Anyway, with your gear, you should be able to handle 10/25 TOC easily, if you haven't done it already, which should net you some upgrades (especially shield) should the drops be in your favor.

So, Verdigris Chain Belt, I believe, is your best upgrade, offering you a nice chunk of armor, defense and 3 sockets (factoring in belt buckle). It has a +9 Stam bonus, so I would recommend 2x 30 Stam Gems and a 10 agility/15 stam gem to get the socket bonus.

Note: Sentinel's Winter Cloak is also a great piece, I just personally feel that belt will give you the most bang for your buck at this point. I would get this back second, unless you manage to pick up Pride of the Demon Lord from 25m TOC, in which case I would spend your next set of emblems on the gloves (Gauntlets Of the Kraken) I listed earlier.

In fact, if you have a bit of luck, you could get a pair of 251/264 Tier gloves from the new boss in VOA. He's a pushover, so make sure you're doing it weekly :)
