healer trying to avoid tank deaths

Hi all you lovely tanks....I'm a shammy healer so i know nothing about tanks or Death knights...
The tank in my guild is a tau DK and he dies alot, like getting 2 hitted. I dont have probs healing anyone else but him. i posted his profile and i was wondering if anyone could see if his profile needs any tweeking, or if i should just spam heal him some more.

hhhmm will need to find a differant profiler that keeps him nameless as this one doesnt show gems and enchants

I've just looked myself up on this profiler and the results are a bit weird. It shows all my gemming and enchants, but my stats are all wrong. I think this profiler does not take into account your gear when calculating stats, as my DEF is shown as being 400 and it is actually around 546. This inaccurate information makes it hard to give advice on his toon. According to this profile, his DEF and armor are way too low for heroics, but I assume thay are wrong. What are his actaul DEF and armour stats?

His gemming and enchants look ok. He could level his BS skill up so he can socket bracers and gloves for a couple more stam gems.

Is there any boss or content in particular you have trouble with? When you say "I dont have probs healing anyone else but him.", are you referring to other tanks or other people in your party? Naturally you would expect the tank to be taking most damage, if he is doing his job, and therefore require most healing and be the hardest one to keep alive.

What is his defense? This armory is showing it at 425 but that can't be right.

Personally, I'm a fan of specing into Will of the Necropolis in the Blood tree, some on here argue against it, but I like it. No need for him to spec into Corpse Explosion, it's fun to watch, but he's a tank, he can generate threat other ways, also, no reason for Subversion. Personally, I'd take the 4 points and put three into Will of the Necropolis and one into Scent of Blood. He must be really Runic Power starved with this spec. I assume the cloak is the next thing to be replaced. Lastly then Triumph emblem trinket with armor is very useful in ICC. He seems geared enough, maybe that he needs better timing on his cooldown and better use of Death Strike with his diseases up.
