We're currently looking for the following people to join us in our quest to be at the cutting edge of raiding in Wrath of the Lich King:

High Desirability
Druid (Feral - Primary focus on dps, but should be comfortable with tanking)
Priest (Holy / Disc)
Shaman (Restoration)

Medium Desirability

Low Desirability
Druid (Restoration)
Paladin (Holy)
Shaman (Elemental)
Deathknight (Should be comfortable with both tanking and DPS roles)

We're looking for people who have made an effort to gear themselves up - so applicants should be geared at near the best they can be in their current situation.
Truly exceptional players of any class are always considered, and encouraged to apply. But please take a moment to consider what truly exceptional actually means before doing this.

About Us:
We see ourselves as a raiding guild for mature, competent individuals. We want to be at the forefront of content, and at the same time maintain a schedule which allows for other activities beside 25-man raiding, be they real-life commitments or in-game activities. In order to be successful with such a lofty goal, we seek to maintain a membership of mature, skilled, intelligent and focused players. The guild has been founded by a group of long-time World of Warcraft players, with extensive raiding experience, stretching back all the way from early vanilla.

Our progress so far is:
Icecrown Citadel (25): Lower Spire and Plagueworks cleared, Crimson Hall cleared, Frostwing cleared.
Trial of the Crusader (25): Downed all normal mode fights, as well 4/5 in Trial of the Grand Crusader.
Trial of the Crusader (10): A Tribute to Insanity.
Ulduar (25): FL4, XT hardmode, Assembly of Iron hardmode, Thorim hardmode, Hodir hardmode, Mimiron hardmode, Vezax hardmode, Yogg3, Freya3.
Ulduar (10): Glory of the Ulduar Raider, Algalon.

Our raid times for 25-man raiding are 3 to 4 nights a week, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and sometimes Monday from 20.00 to 24.00 game time.
10-mans are organized on all offnights. Friday and Saturday are never official raid nights.
We expect an attendance of at least 75%, but we are willing to make individual arrangements with truly exceptional players.

What we want from you:

•A mature attitude. We are a guild of grown-ups. If you are a young person (say below the age of 20), it does not mean you cannot join, it just means you will have a bit of extra work cut out to convince us that you have the required maturity.
•A good knowledge of your class and game mechanics in general. You do not have to be a theorycrafter with a university degree in math or statistics, but you know your class extremely well - either through years of experience, dedicated research or just being an intelligent individual in general. We are not going to teach you how to play your class. We also expect you to have a good knowledge of other classes, as we believe this makes for better players.
•You play a class, not a spec. This doesn't mean you will be asked to respec constantly - but it means you will respec for the good of the raid if it's needed, and that you try to keep gear sets for your offspecs, as well as a working knowledge of how to play them. This is especially important if you play a hybrid such as a paladin, shaman, priest, druid, death knight or warrior.
•You are self-motivated and understand the importance of being prepared. You come to raids with the requisite consumables, you work on gearing up your character outside raiding as well as your schedule permits, and you read up on encounters (including trash mobs) beforehand. You are expected to participate in post-raid analysis, as well always striving to improve as a player.
•The ability to communicate in proper English. We understand there are many players who do not have English as their first language, and we do not require you to be able to communicate in perfect grammar and spelling. But we do not want leetspeak, extreme use of abbreviations and similar - and especially not if English is your first language. All these are waived of course, if it's part of a sarcastic joke or similar.
•Reliability and loyalty. It is extremely important when we begin raiding, that you are able to post when you are not available to raid, as well beforehand as possible. Respect your fellow guild members and the time they put into game, and do not leaving them hanging with no warning. We do not have a specific attendance demand, but we do expect you to keep a pretty constant attendance, so that we can plan from it.
•We do not want drama queens, loot#!#!@s, nor people who are verbally abusive or have anger management issues. We value a mature guild atmosphere, and we do not tolerate drama. Also, if you have a bad standing with the community of your current server, you will have to somehow convince us, that it is undeserved.
•You have a good environmental awareness. You know how to not stand in the fire. Even if you have to heal/dps/tank and/or run around at the same time, you know to keep an eye out for "the fire" as well as an eye on your healthbar.
•You must be able to accept sitout duty when it's necessary. While we try hard not to bloat our roster, we do not want to be in a situation where bad luck on people's real life activities means we cannot field a full raid team for a planned run. Most raids have one or more sitouts - and you must be willing to accept that sometimes it's your turn.

The following would be a great bonus:

•Leadership experience. If you have experience as an officer, class leader or raid leader, that's a big plus in our book. Being in charge requires being aware of the interplay between classes, knowledges of the core roles: tanks, healing and dps, as well as having an eye of strategy. These things makes for a better player even when not leading.
•Strong analytical skills. Being able to dissect log files and various parses of logs, in order to optimize raiding performance and pinpoint weaknesses, that could otherwise be hard to spot.
