fury warrior -arp vs str question

Hi,

I have been debating about regemming from Str to Arp. Currently my gear (armory link : http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Echo+Isles&cn=Pixiemouse) has very few Arp on its own. I use Landsoul's spreadsheet from time to time and did notice that it predicted lower dps with a complete Arp switchover along with Needle encrusted Scorpion. Any feedback on tweaking my setup is appreciated.

Seems like every fury warrior i have met has been stacking ArP . I am feeling sorta left out , not being in the bandwagon. So far I haven't been lucky with ArP from gear itself.

Also the spreadsheet does not favor the relentless meta gem over chaotic skyflare diamond.

Also seems like a lot of people are favoring the agility version of the ashen verdict ring. Can you explain why.

General rule of thumb for Arp is,

1. Softcap: Only do this if you have any ArP procing trinket like NES/MJ/GT. The idea is to get to 53% Arp from food + gear + gems so that when trinket procs you are at 100% Arp.
2. HardCap: Getting as close to 100% Arp from gear + food. Requires pretty High end gear.

Since you dont have an ArP procing trinket (you trinkets are amazing I am not saying change them) you will need to go the hardcap route. So I say only gem ArP if you can get cloase to hardcap with your gear.


Also the spreadsheet does not favor the relentless meta gem over chaotic skyflare diamond.

Relentless meta lets you swap 2 blue gems for a +10 stats gem so the other slot can be used to gem str or Arp.


Also seems like a lot of people are favoring the agility version of the ashen verdict ring. Can you explain why.

I think the idea is you get same AP from both but more crit from the agility rings.
