10m Blood Prince Problem

All the guides/videos there are around have WARLOCK tanking the 3rd boss, but currently in my guild's roster we do not have any geared warlocks for ICC content.

Trying to figure out the best person to range tank the boss?

Or Can we actually just have one of the tanks tank two of the bosses and the other tank do the range tank?

Since they have removed Keleseth's melee attack there is not much of a need for range tank on him, so your DK grabbing him since he has few more range attacks for picking up Nuclei and having your druid tank other 2 bosses should work out fine.

The reason why specfically a warlock is mentioned in every guide is that they have a lot of talents they can spec in to that reduces damage by a pretty large margin. If you want to use a ranged tank, your hunter can do the job just fine. I personally have not tried using a normal tank on Keleseth, but honestly, it sounds like a solid strat.

As a bear tank, I don't think I would have any problems tanking both the other guys and from what I seen and read of the warlock tank's job, there really isn't any reason why a DK couldn't do it.

Damn. I was kinda hoping you would say the druid could do the range tanking because I am not the raid leader, but I don't think hes not as geared as I, the DK, is.

Whats the addon you have at the end of the video that shows what buffs n stuff you have in your raid?

Also who was double tanking what?

Speaking as a Druid tank there is just no real feasble way to do that. We got faerie fire and taunt to make it work with (along with feral charge) but thats about it. Anything else I would have to deshift, even with some shadow resistance I would be pretty hesitant to do that.

Now I am sure I could get it done if there were no other options but a DK has a so many more tools to use for this situation.

EDIT: Just as some antedotal advice on a diffrent aspect of the fight, I notice you have an elem shammy, we had good luck with my own shammy go resto for that fight. Not really for extra heals, but since keeping the 3 beach balls in the air 24/7 is a 2 person job. So we figured it wasn't a really DPS loss, just an earth shield gain. Just something that worked for us.

We use our Prot Paladin to tank Keleseth, our Bear grabs the other 2, faily easy - The previous week we killed the princes having our Hunter range tank it, turned out it was just easier to have our ProtP tank him - Hope this helps!
