This is another "council" encounter with multiple NPCs, with shared health across all of them. They each have an ability called Invocation of Blood which allows them to cast stronger versions of their abilities while under its effects.is is another "council" encounter with multiple NPCs, with shared health across all of them.

Trying to figure out some solid strategy for this upcoming fight. So far we have the abilities:

Is anyone out there that can explain how the fight might go?

There is a video out there from...Legacy I think? That showed a good portion of the encounter. It looks like they had someone gather up the various Dark Nucleui so that they would stack the shadow damage reduction (Likely to deal with Empowered Lance).

I also noticed that they swapped primary targets to whichever Prince had Invocation of Blood, I am not sure exactly why that is.

how it works is there is essentially 1 health pool. when the fight starts 2 of the mobs have 0 hp, and one has full, the mob with the HP is the mob that has invocation of blood.

every X amount of time invocation of blood will switch to one of the other mobs, and then that add will have what ever HP you got the first mob to, and the other two will stay at 0hp, and it will keep doing this through the entire fight

Is it time based and not HP% based?

It looks like it happened every 35 seconds in the legacy video. It doesn't appear to be HP based.

The original video had two tanks + a ranged tank on the shadow prince who ate dark nuclei and appeared to be immune to things. The problem to consider here is that the shadow prince is similar to the mage on Council; they don't move unless they're out of range, which makes DPS on them hard.

But it otherwise looks like a fairly easy fight. There's a lot of movement and spreading out, but it's not complicated.

Yeah, the entire challenge looked like handling the Empowered Shadow Lances while making sure that the group was spread out and changes targets appropriately.

Is Spiritus or any other tankspotter creating a pre-release guide?
