Can anyone explain what the mobs do and how to pull etc? We were just messing around in there last night, and died several times, seems like the val'kyr heal but how many are there and is there a way to pull them without grabbing aboms? we seemed to have to pull aboms then the other adds would swoop down

Appreciate any and all tips ty

The val'kyr clone your raid. More than once if the fight goes on too long. The cloned healers heal the val'kyr.

Our solution was to just reduce the number of healers in our raid (some of them respecced dps).

Best I can tell, your healers heal the Val'kyar i.e. it's a fight like the last boss in H OK you have your shadow selves appear if you don't burn her fast enough. We MD the abominations back when the geists are not near the door.

The best way to do the pulls is to go inside after the steam and go to the ledge on the left, pull the Val'kyr's down over here and nuke em fast as ya can. If they clone a DPS just heal through it, if they clone a healer mark that will skull and have the DPS switch to that, then back to the Val'kyr. After you have pulled both of the Val'kyrs go over the bridge to the middile platform. From there turn left and you can much more easily pull the aboms, face them away from the raid 'cause they spew over everyone.

Fleshreapers - or as I call them "Face-eaters" - swarm a fair bit, specially with the traps just a little inside the passageways guarded by the mini-bosses. Make sure your AOE for DPS doesnt go off too early or they'll eat your face.

Plague Scientists, get magic dispellers on the ready as they'll CC random people, including tanks.

The Mutated dudes, think of them as timed bombs after they hit around 20%. If you don't get them down the melee DPS will die and anyone close enough to eat a bomb.

Aboms, they have a plague AOE aura that will deal about 5k in 10man. Just try not be in range if you're a healer/range.

That pretty much covers the adds besides the val'kyr, which is already mentioned several times over.

You're done with the Val'kyr, but there's more fun. There's some additional trash then Stinky and Precious.

Stinky and Precious are a pain, especially precious. Read up, you can't just pull and spank. They're practically mini-bosses requiring at least 1 tank swap and heavy healing or add management.
