DK Stats

Ok I ws searching online to find out the max stats I'll need to tank anything in WoW

I never got my answers bcause everything is percentages, and not exact stat numbers.

Then I found a site call deathknightbuilds.net which saids:
DEFENSE: required SKILL to make your character uncrittable by bosses.
Level 80 - 540 defense SKILL which is acquired with 690 defense RATING.

Which has me confused can anyone help me with this? Do I need 540 Defense Like Other Tank classes are do i need to push for 690?

You need 540 Skill
or
690 Rating
690 Defense RATING = 540 Defense SKILL

Reason rating and skill were capital in the post you read.
Items will have defense rating on them, the DK weapon enchant for tanking adds skill.

Just remember that Rating and Skill are the same stat just different values.
