The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=The+Forgotten+Coast&n=Beastlypally)
I stopped playing back in August. I recently got back into the game with a group of people from my old guild who formed a new one. I was used as a tank a lot in the older guild but I know I'm not up to par for the newer raids. I'm looking for advice on minimum stats or how I could upgrade for:
I've never run Uld so maybe I should try to get them to backtrack since I'm not sure if they did either and start there. But as of now I've been doing Heroics for emblems and any gear that would help. Any input is appreciated.

check the gear in Heroic TOC (5man) (http://www.wowhead.com/?items&filter=ub=2;cr=106;crs=4723;crv=0;gm=3;wt=22:45:43 :42:117:21:46:119:44:20:41:77:123:96;wtv=100:94:86 :86:79:76:76:58:52:50:6:6:4:3)
Regular ToC (http://www.wowhead.com/?items&filter=ub=2;cr=105;crs=4723;crv=0;gm=3;wt=22:45:43 :42:117:21:46:119:44:20:41:77:123:96;wtv=100:94:86 :86:79:76:76:58:52:50:6:6:4:3) has a stam trinket (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47216) in it that you definitely want to get.
Look at the Emblem of Conquest (http://www.wowhead.com/?items&filter=ub=2;cr=118;crs=45624;crv=0;gm=3;wt=22:45:4 3:42:117:21:46:119:44:20:41:77:123:96;wtv=100:94:8 6:86:79:76:76:58:52:50:6:6:4:3) list AND check the other lower ones too. You can farm those Emblems in Heroics about as fast as you wish.
Other than that I'd say to raid whatever the best content is that you can get in to, relative to how much time you want to spend playing the game. If you can get a guild to drag you through TOC25 then jump on it, but more likely you will have to find one that will let you join as a non-raider and you can pick up the Ulduar drops they don't need. You might also do yourself well to be proficient on your offspec and be online at rad times and willing to fill a slot. (I'd recommend switching your offspec it to Ret so you don't get sucked in to being a healer Permanantly unless you WANT to be) Lots of raiders are buuurned out on TOC10/25. I mean, there's only FIVE bosses...
Remember, ICC is hitting very soon, so any gear you have or get will be a Tier behind in a matter of weeks. But this also means that you can pick up pieces pretty easily, just by being in the right place. I'd advise going for quantity over quality at this point. (get as many 226 or 232 pieces as possible). Most of your gear is 200, so I'd start with those. Ignore chest upgrades (unless it is free, duh). If you get 35+ Triumph badges, grab a 232 piece instead of, say, spending almost twice that plus a Trophy of the Crusade (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47242) for a 245. (Another option here would be to hold on to your Triumph Emblems until ICC release and farm more T-Emblems from heroics then.)

Well Healing never bothered me. The guild I'm in I'm a friend of all the officers and the leader but I'd rather be able to help than be carried. I know of some upgrades I can get but I was just looking for a few numbers to possibly aim for. I've been making lists of items I would want to get and have been aiming for them. Today after work I plan on running reg ToC for the Stam Trinket (gonna go crazy, would be like AN but nonstop). And as for PuGs, most want achievements which I never got cause I used this guy only within the guild so I'd have to start or wait for one that doesn't require it, which isn't to bad. I just emailed the leader to try to get older content on the board. I'm a quick learner and just by reading I learn how to manage a fight normally the first try without experience. Just hate that you need numbers more than skill.
