I have a few invites available to test out Google Wave Preview (preview = beta). And yes, it's buggy and will probably crash your browser more often than you'd like. If anyone is interested, please continue reading.

If you want an invite, I will need your email address. After a few hours Google Wave will send out an invite to you. (I don't know why there is a delay, but there is. Probably so they can throttle the influx of new users.) If you want an invite PM your email address to someone on the list. While you could just post it here, most people don't want their email addresses on open display in a public forum so that's the method I'm going with.

What is Google Wave

Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

What is a wave?

A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.

A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.
