Ok here is the link. I need some tips and ideas from experienced DK tanks *looks at Satorri*

Looking forward ot the feedback.

So even if I'm not Satorri, I'll try to give you some cause for thinking about ur spec.

First get that axe from heroic trial of the champion, and continue running toc10 and ulduar25, that are the raids for your gear level. In gemming terms, you want as much +stam gems as you can have (gearing for bonuses isn't effective...+9 or +12 stam is worth a discussion, but all other aren't).

About your specc you should consider following things:

-do you have enough threat-build up (if not, consider dropping the improved rune tap/rune tap for sudden doom + histeria)

-mark of blood doesn't give you that much "dmg mitigation" (in fact it's healing, but it goes that quick, you can effectively say it's mitigation), consider dropping it for the additional point epidemic if it comes to toc25,togc10 and togc25

-additional strenght is nice, but personally i think improved icy touch gives a better form of dmg reduction, than that additional parry you get per strength point

just my 2 cents

I will...continue from Tribute's - who mentioned some really nice points - post. :-)

Sigil: I'd change that ASAP: You are not using Frost Strike, and Death Coil is not used much by Blood tanks, save as an RP dump, at 60rp+.

Enchantements: +275 Health for Chest (Super Health/Ench); +16 Defense for Cloak (Titanweave/Ench); +15 Stamina/Minor Run Speed for Boots (Tusskar's Vitality/Ench); +30 Stamina/+15 Resilience for Shoulders (Greater-Gladiator/PvP); +18 Stamina for Gloves (Heavy Borean Armor/LW).

I would gem and enchant for stamina only, and enchant for stamina over defense. The Inscription (shoulder enchant) is taken precisely because of that: More health/stamina.

Enchants like Armsman (+2% Threat/+10 Parry Rating) are useful if you have issues with threat, but the parry rating is subject to diminishing returns and, therefore, direct defense is better - which is a reason why you should seldom, if ever, gem with a pure avoidance gem (e.g: +10 dodge rating/+15 stamina).

Like Tribute mentioned: Socket bonuses should be ignored, unless it is +9 (or more) Stamina...and there are a few such pieces in Trial of the Crusader.

Glyphs: I am guessing you have some sort of a rotation that uses Icy Touch AND Plague Strike only once per fight. If not, Glyph of Disease is useless. I'd go for...Glyph of Rune Strike (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43550) is the one I use.

I am a Blood tank myself, but my spec is a bit different. I don't have Rune Tap, or Mark of Blood (nor Bloodworms), since I expect my healers to be able to keep me up - RNG aside. If they can't, I should run something a bit "less harder" to gear up, first. :P

To generate RP more efficiently, as a tank, I have Scent of Blood (http://ptr.wowhead.com/?spell=49509): Rune Strike and Death Coil need RP; never DC with <60rp, since you'd always want at least 20rp for a RS.

NB: That's all I could think of as of now, but I am extremely sleep-starved at the moment...
