Tankard or Deathbringer??

So as a Frost DW sorta guy, I have been using two Tankard's o' Terror

But tonight I picked up an Empowered Deathbringer, which is slightly slower and I was wondering it it would be worth swapping one of the Tankards for it to squeeze out some more DPS.

I think I am doing fairly good with my gear progression so far, but if you see any other areas I should tweak let me know.

The best thing to try, is to just try both on a dummy in town, just see what you get the best effects from.

I would dare to say that empowered death bringer is slightly better in your mh. full dmg, more chance to proc and base attack of some spells would be increased.

Thats what I was thinking, but the loss of stats is what makes me hesitate.

Probably gonna have to test both out on both target dummies and in an actual raid to be sure. At least they're both already soulbound, so nothing stopping you.

Try both on the same trash mobs with the same buffs on you, or if you wipe on a boss then switch on the next attempt and make sure you have the same buffs as the previous attempt, and watch Recount. Given the natural variation in DPS meters, it's probably going to take multiple tests like this b/f you can be sure.

Fortunately you're not losing any Hit or Expertise when switching from the Tankard to the Deathbringer, just some dps stats.
