Need some help/ advice in improving my DPS as Fury spec. on average about 2.2-2.7 k for DPS. Have been able to do 3.6-3.9 k though on a good day. Decently geared and believed to be gemmed properly. Do have low expertise count but not sure where to gem for it without cutting something else. here is my armory:
The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Silvermoon&n=Malenthal)

Have a good fury rotation ( ww-bt-slam- repeat- hs) all but commited to memory so far and working the kinks out with CDs, but other guild members geared the same are able to pull 4-5k dps. Reading tutorials, guides and still seem to come up short. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

You do need to hit 26 expertise (214 rating). You can actually afford to drop your hit gems for expertise gems to make up part of the gap (you gain 3% hit from talents). After that, sacrifice what strength gems you need to make the difference. Also, enchant your chest while you're doing all the regemming.

The Black Heart really isn't a DPS trinket - spring for a DMC:Greatness for an easy boost. The strength/stam gem in your bracer can either be one of the expertise gems you need, or switch it to straight strength. It's a blacksmithed slot, so there's no bonus to gain from a purple there anyway.

Pure strength will do better for you than the 40AP in the Edge of Agony in your offhand, and better than the 10str/15sta in the mainhand one. You don't need to split any of these gems since your helm doesn't have a meta slot that you need to activate.

That said, you may want to spring for the conquest badge helm or even one of the 245 badge helms if you're not hurting for triumph badges to pick up stats and a meta, though that will change your gemming requirements slightly.

As to your priorities, make sure you're not putting off WW or BT to get a slam off, and that you're not rage starving yourself with HS. You want to get those two primary attacks off as often as possible before filling in the holes with instant slams.
