Night elves Quickness

I'm in the process of gearing up my night elf warrior and I was wondering if the night elves def cap was lower than another race because of Quickness (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=20582).

Nope. The defense "cap" is really just a softcap. Against level 83 mobs warriors need a defense rating of 540 in order for the mob to not crit them. After that warriors still gain the dodge/block/parry/miss from defense at the same rate (modified by diminishing returns). The 2% dodge is really just added avoidance, though it may make the dodge DRs occour sooner b/c I think the 2% is added first.

But short answer: no.

And yes, the 2% is to dodge, not to chance to be hit.

So, no. You still need "540" (Until cataclysm)
