Hello, I've been gearing myself with the 40k unbuffed sta in mind, now that I've reached it, want to know if 56% avoidance is too low. Do I need to work on it or continue raising my health pool? Thanx.

your gear setup and gemming seems ok, but that kirin tor ring makes no sense at all, you really should make it your priority to substitute that for Emblem of Triumph Ring of Pure Awesome (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47731)

On a side note, your avoidance does not seem to be 56% (more towards 54% from how it looks), are you using the macro to verify it?

Thanks for your response, the kirin tor ring is for teleport only,
I have the emblems one. And yes the 56% has been calculated by the macro.

Does the macro add the boss's 5% chance to naturally miss 'cuz with the other ring I get closer to 61% for your avoidance, which is fine.

As far as enchanting/gemming goes:

I'd say put 275 hps on chest, 225 armor to cloak, 240 armor to gloves, put a 3rd stam gem in your belt instead of the dodge/stam since you have a red meeting a 9 stam socket bonus to activate your meta in your legs, and maybe 18 stam to shield.

Glyphs: take out rapid charge and cleaving. Idk what those are for, rock shield wall/last stand unless you need threat then drop SW for devastate. Maybe pick up imp disciplines instead of shield block or focused rage.

Everything else seems pretty savvy.

Thans for your response Aggathon. I'll take into account your enchanting advices. About my talents, I took this build time ago thinking in multi mob aggro and good dps/tps output (for heros, easy raids and soloing) and i've been doing well since. Now with ToC I could need a little bit of extra help on survavility. I'm thinking on dropping the arms tree and make one tank spec for damage/tps and another for surv. Is there another talent in Protection than Improved Disc. that I lack and is worth it in surv. terms???
