Hi, my name is Okikumas @ Daggerspine, on the Cataclysm battlegroup.

Will link my armory here:

http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Daggerspine&n=Okikumas

I am wondering how I can improve my DPS(Current Fight primarily, but also Overall), what gear I should use and how i should allocate my Talent Points. Currently i'm somewhere at 3000-4000 DPS depending on the situation(raid, 10 or 25man, hc instance etc.) In 10/25-mans im on the plus-side of 3500 most of the time.

I have one clear goal atm, i have a Trophy of the Crusade and will use this and 75 Emblems of Triumph to get a new head-piece, to get full setbonus. Is this the right move to make? Also chasing Hellscreams Slicers from endboss in ToC25(Slow onehand axe, the twin of my Offhand weapon) but then im lost in terms of what i should do/get.

Like what enchants to get on Weapons and what gems to socket, what I would benefit from most. I would very much appreciate some good advice from experienced imba rogues, or just imba ppl in general =P

I am constantly looking for better gear, raiding ToC10/25, VoA10/25, Onyxia10/25 and Ulduar25(although im rarely in Ulduar). Got about 50 Emblems of Triumph at the moment and using Conquest emblems for gem-purchases. Got one Trophy of the Crusade and Trying to socket Agi+ stuff primarily.

Thanks for any good advice!

For weapon enchants you are supposed to use Berserker.

Hi Okikumas,

I find that one of the best resources for rogues is ShadowPanther.net - World of Warcraft Rogue Info - Charts, Articles, Guides & more! (http://www.shadowpanther.net) which has a whole load of detail around gear, enchants, talents and glyphs for rogues.

I think you really need to work on your rotation.

Here is my rogue:
The World of Warcraft Armory (http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Twilight%27s+Hammer&cn=Oshen)

As you can see he is mutilate and has worse gear (both of those should be seen as penatlies), but I'm pulling 5k+ dps in 10 mans. So if you are dishing out only 3k - 4k max dps you do something terribly wrong.

So here is a tip from me - instead of looking for upgrades in items check your rotation and practice a lot on Raid Boss dummy in capitols. Even if you get an upgrade but your rotation sucks you will get 100 dps increase max.
And going below 5k with your level of gear is really a shame giving bad name to rogue's dps.

I know very well that the Mut-Pve spec is MUCH better at raids, its just also way more boring if you ask me. Was that spec before but i got bored with it. Rotation is something along the lines of: Garotte from Stealth -> Sinister x2 -> Rupture or SnD -> Sinister x3 -> Rupture or SnD depending on what i took last -> Sinisters -> Eviscerate if good enough time left on SnD/Rupture. And repeat, sort of. Not taking Enrage into account now.

I will return with a proper dps-number from dummies, albeit dummies do not tell alot about dps in a raid, where you switch targets, interrupt, etc etc.
