I have 1 Trophy of the Crusade and after tonight's H Daily I will have 76 Emblems of Triumph, so enough for any 1 T9.5 piece, but I have no clue which to pick. Which one should I purchase?

Here is my current gear: The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Uther&n=Phathead)

And here are my options:
Head: Wrynn's Greathelm of Triumph - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48430)
Shoulder: Wrynn's Pauldrons of Triumph - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48454)
Chest: Wrynn's Breastplate of Triumph - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48450)
Hands: Wrynn's Handguards of Triumph - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48452)
Legs: Wrynn's Legguards of Triumph - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48446)

Right now I'm leaning towards the chest piece because it seems the most well itemized w/ dodge and parry, however I do run TOC 25 (normal) now and then, and I'm very much afraid I will shell out all I have for the chest and then I will see Chestplate of the Towering Monstrosity (Chestplate of the Towering Monstrosity - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=46962)) drop, which is just as well itemized. Is there a better option that will fill a gap that won't be replaced by any TOC raid pieces in the near future? Please HALP me!

As always any general advice on gear or stats is also appreciated.

I'd go for the chest personally - expertise is nice for threat but the itemization on the tier piece is decent and the set bonus is nothing to sneeze at. You also might look at some of the non-tier pieces like the Headplate of the Honorbound which is a solid all-around upgrade.

Also, a straight hit-rating gem? Hit's nice to have but I don't think I'd use a straight hit gem over a hybrid, particularly when I was already ~200 hr.

If you do VoA25 regularly, I'd stay away from the legs and gloves and hope for a "free" drop there. Honestly, I would say the shoulders, but you already grabbed the 9.0 of that, and the 9.0-equivalent Ony helm, so the BP is pretty clearly the best bet in terms of pure upgrade, if you accept that line of thought on VoA. Else, I'd probably suggest going legs, then gloves to keep from dropping a lot of hit as you go about upgrading. Sure, you'll be over-capped a bit, but you can gem out of some of it with your boots to keep the balance in the interim.

As to stats, the only things I can really see for you to do is to replace the blue-quality split gems in your monarch crab and belt with epic ones, depending on how all-out you want to go.

@Griff - I thought the cap for hit was 260, so if you're below that you need to gem/enchant for it? You think I'm okay at over 200 (i'm worried about a taunt missing on someone like Ony at a critical time). I'm also seeing myself lose a ton of hit as I move out of T8.5, so I'm hesitant to re-gem it.

@Zerul - I def agree with you on the legs. VOA is how I ended up with my current T8.5 legs, so I have every intention of running it weekly and hoping for an up. I think the chest piece is probably the way to go, as you mentioned the 2 pc set bonus, which I wasn't even taking into consideration (also a good bit more Str than Towering Monstrosity).

Also I intend to epic gem everything, but I'm still farming the honor to get more raw epics. I don't want to downgrade badges of conquest because I'm using them to build my DPS offset up, and I am tapped out on cash after forking over for the mats for Indestructible Plate Girdle.

Hit cap for melee is ~263 but you really don't need to be hit capped as a tank. Its not bad for threat but definitely not vital. Its also worth remembering that taunt is based on spell hit (for some mysterious reason) rather than melee hit so even sitting at 263, you're well under the spell hit cap. If you're worried about your taunts, glyph into it.

Hmm. I'd always thought 260+ hit and 26+ expertise were hard and fast rules like 540 def minimum. So is 200 the threshold below which I should worry? I've been concerned about the amount of hit I lose gearing up from T8.5 to higher end stuff, but if I can drop even lower then what I'm at I'm more then willing to re-gem into better stats (I think both my Parry and Expertise have room to grow.

Also I agree with all posts so far that the chest seems the best up, so I'll most likely pick that up tonight...if I can avoid getting the helm so I don't have to look at that stupid Helm or Wrath model anymore hahahah.
