When tanking hero modes or pure melee oriented bosses, it sems im reciving way more damage than the paladins tanks that tank with me, healers complain on fights like hero Northrend beasts, when the impaler is pretty much 1 or 2 shotting me down.
i will like any suggestions on my gear or build (dunno if the armory update my build yet, i did a small change).

this is my armory link:
The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Arathor&n=Krother)

thanks for any advice beforehand.

Note: i apologise to the readers for any grammar or Punctuation errors, english is not my native lenguage, and pretty much learn it alone, playing this game ;)

There is no way changing your gear or build will ever compensate for the EH advantages paladins have over warriors - if your problem is the fact paladin takes less damage, you should get used to it, because that's just how it is designed at this moment.

If your probem is just dying to bosses though, you might want to set a rotation of cooldowns from healers, you might want to regem hit into def, you might want to make sure that max ap debuff is permanently on bosses.

Your gear looks pretty good, a few things I would suggest:

- The more health the better on a lot of the heroic modes as a prot warrior, I would replace your Furnace Stone with Juggernaut's Vitality - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47290) or Heart of Iron - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45158) or Royal Seal of King Llane - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=46021) depending on whats available to you
- Progression spec change: your 15/5/51 is good for threat but doesn't allow the survivability that something like 5/10/56 Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#LVZGVZVItrx0didIzsGo:TicMmz) gives you. The improved demo shout is very helpful along with good rage generation and reduced shieldwall cooldown @ 2 minutes. Agressive cooldown usage is HUGE in heroic fights to help your healers out in certain situations (and i have glyphed taunt since hit is low in new gear and tank swaps are important).
- Consider revising your weapon enchant, I am not a fan of Blade Ward preferring Blood Draining but that is more just personal preference.
- Make sure you combine trinket use with cooldowns and armor pots to help your healers out and make SURE you constantly keep demo shout and thunderclap up.

EH <> mitigation and avoidance, even though armor is considered part of EH. Comparing to some unknown paladin is hard for us, we don't know if he has better gear or not.

Having said that, from a mitigation/avoidance perspective, tankadins do have some interesting mechanics:
-They get more dodge from agility than warriors. I have always assumed this is because the melee crit gained by agi is useless to paladins but is good for warriors.
-They have better uptime with Holy shield than Shield Block, except in massive packs of fast hitting mobs.
-They have slightly more armor due to devo, whereas warriors can apply aoe debuff with demo shout (I prefer devo, its passive). This is a non-issue with one of each tanking working together.

All of these I believe are to compensate for all the tricks a warrior has up their sleeve to deal with situations, which paladins do not. I dislike this model, as it makes warriors too "Fiddly" for me, having to deal with a lot of active abilities that need to be managed, whereas a lot of it is passive for paladins.

From a health perspective
-Paladins get a scaleable health bonus with kings/sanct whereas warriors get a static health buff with commanding shout. Again, non issue with a raid with both classes present.
-Paladins scale better in end game healthwise than warriors.
