Hit Suffering

Since upgrading some pieces, my hit rating has gone from about 230 (I food buffed to get over the cap) to 114. Perhaps the biggest losses were going to Archaeda's Lost Legplates (http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=45708) (no defense meant switching yellow hit gems for defense) from the Vallourous Tier legs (http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=40567)and switiching out Black Ice (http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=40497) for Ironsoul (http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=45282) (I just could not resist, I love that mace). Despite the drop in hit, threat has not been an issue and my dps still runs between 1400 and 2000 depending on buffs. So my questions are:

Do I need to be concerned? (I've tanked Ulduar through Hodir (we're progressing at our own pace));

Is it worth switching out two Stam Dragon's eye for two more Hit Dragon's eye? or,

If it ain't broke don't fix it?

You do not need to be concerned if threat is fine. The only other place hit matters is if you have to interrupt a boss, which is probably never your job anyway. I'm thinking versus General Vezax and your interrupt fails to stop the flame aoe. That would be a problem. And maybe an occasional taunt failure...?

I agree, It isn't broken.
