I'm Kevin, And I'm seeking for advice.

My main question is am I ready to tank the big guys ? (Meaning Heroics)
I've dinged 80 a few days ago and I went gearing up as tank. I have been tank from level 10-80 so I know what to do in most situations, Though I'm figuring out what talent spec I find fitting to myself the most.

I've done these Heroics without a whipe: UK / UP / AN (guild run)
And 1 more Heroic Old Kingdom. There we had some trouble with the Third boss (that plant thing that decreases defence by 500) and the fourth boss were the DPS was slacking. But we made it with 2 whipes.

And I did CoS Heroic Timed (and i won the mount :D). without a whipe but I could not finish the last boss duo the healer and his brother the DPS needed to eat.

then, I would also have some Advice on my current talent spec. I was thinking to get the HoJ to a CD of 20 second. With the fact that less hits = Less damage = less healing = less mana away from healer. And that attack speed debuff on the mob is nice as well. But to get that i need to take 2 points out of Ret. so i will get a decrease of crit chance = more hits needed to kill a mob = more hits on me = more mana away from healer.

and my final question will be an explaination on how the parry system works. From what i understand is when I parry an attack my weapon speed is increased a little bit. But when a mob / boss parrys an attack his/her weapon speed is increased.

you still low on Hp on Heroic but nothing a really good healer can't be over heal you for any heroic. But i sugges you to take time to make normal dongeons you have some drop in there for removing youre blue green think.

HOL (normal) : really good def trinket.
AN Heroic: Best tank trinket in my mind.
If youre alchemist engenier or JC you can make another good trinket.
Make youre daily quest for upgrade wymcrest accord rep and argent crusage for : cloack, chest leg,

First 15 badge of heroic : BIS libram for block

Neck for tank made by JC if you have the gold to make it.

Thank you for your advice, I was saving to make a JC Neck item.
Also I managed today to tank HC VH and HC Grundrak (both without a whipe). Tonight im trying to advance to HC Occles (or how you spell it).
I also have the Back / Chest piece from the wymcrest accord. Though I might be mistaken there is no leg (tanking) piece with the wymcrest accord.

yeah from Argent crusade.

You can start try to drop the one from VH Heroic.
like i say you can try to do some normal instance too he have some nice upgrade in there.

Youre in good shape dont hésitate if you need more advice how to start I was 80 for 3 week on my paly tank and i have managed to MT uldu 25man in 3 weeks. But if i was you Neck and libram shoul be my best priority after that focus to find 2 viable trinket.
