Gearing impasse + 3.2 conundrum

I've reached a level of gearing and stats which is roughly b/t heroics and Nax, it seems. I'm also about to have enough emblems to buy the following T7 epics to upgrade my blues:

Heroes' Scourgeborne Chestguard (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39623)
Heroes' Scourgeborne Handguards (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39624#comments)
Bracers of Dalaran's Parapets (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40734)
Waistguard of Living Iron (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40689)

However, they only seem to make a marginal difference to my stats, even though 3 of those epics are replacing blue items.

So I'm wondering now if I should just spend from now until 3.2 in a few weeks farming gold (for like a Traveler's Tundra Mammoth), saving Heroic badges to buy and auction gems, and then continue gearing again in 3.2 when Heroics drop emblems of Valor and Conquest.

What would you do if you were me? Is there any compelling reason to push for the above gear, gem and enchant it, and finish that right about the time 3.2 comes out, at which point I'll do it all over again for Valor and Conquest emblems?

I would say buy whatever you can now with heroic badges if you are going to be playing between now and 3.2. You should strive to be the best geared you can within reason (ie not raiding 80 hours a week unless that's your thing), so no point in stockpiling badges you aren't gonna ever use after 3.2.

Also I think your guess of "a few weeks" for 3.2 is overly optimistic. If this is anything like 3.1, its far far away. They were testing that for 6-8 weeks on the PTR between the time it was announced and the time it went live. I am as excited as can be for conquest emblems from 5 mans, but realistically I'd imagine 3.2 wont be going live until probably early September most likely.
