View Full Version : Balancing gear a bad idea?

So, in my experience as a tank, I've always had some rather odd views on my gear choices. Most tanks that have not played with me just look at my armory and go "WTF are you doing that for?"

Now, for the most part I have decent avoidance compared to those that have had such comments, but I'm really wondering if I'm super squishy or something (former guild never complained and actually said I was easy to heal.) I've always tried to keep my expertise above the soft cap and my block value relatively high. I guess looking at my gear would be the best way to determine what I should be going for and what I could do better.

Thanks for any comments/suggestions.

Your gear looks fine to me. The only thing I would say is their has been some debate on the value of BV in Ulduar. You might do some research into whether it might be in your best interestes to lean more towards avoidance over block.

To support Tatt, yes Block is currently considered to be not worth it.
